1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate? I've never had of the nog - sounds good though.
2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? He wraps them AND he puts them under the tree.
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? Nothing on the house, because bleh, obnoxious. White lights on the tree.
4. Do you hang mistletoe? If I can get it.
5. When do you put your decorations up? Two weeks before Christmas day.
6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)? Turkey gravy. Or stuffing. Or turkey, with gravy and stuffing and cranberry sauce... Mmmmm.
7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child: Waking up in the morning and finding our stockings full at the end of the bed and bringing them into my parents' room and waking them up so we could look at what was inside.
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? Family lore tells that on Christmas morning when I was six years old, I told my older sister not to be silly and that Santa couldn't possibly be real.
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? No! Sacrilege!
10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree? Lights first, then arguments, then baubles, then arguments, then the star, accompanied by some arguments.
11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? LOVE IT! But we hardly ever get it, and never at Christmas, it seems like.
12. Can you ice skate? Enough to go forward and not fall over. It is much fun and Christmassy.
13. Do you remember your favorite gift? I got my laptop, Agatha, four years ago this Christmas. She may be old, but I still love her.
14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you? Food and sleeping.
15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? Mince pies with thick pouring cream. And eating big chunks of marzipan when I'm icing the cakes.
16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? Waking up on Christmas morning (we still get stocking at the end of our beds, and we still bring them into my parents' room to see what we got), then trooping downstairs to open our big presents (my mum always has to be the first person downstairs), then we make tea and open our pressies.
17. What tops your tree? A star.
18. Which do you prefer, Giving or Receiving? Hm. I like giving presents when I know I got something someone will love, but I always feel guilty when I settle for a present. That being said, I love getting gifts, but am really bad at faking liking ones I hate.
19. What is your favorite Christmas Song? Fairytale of New York by The Pogues.
20. Candy Canes! Yuck or Yum? Meh.
